Use this checklist to help prepare for your in-person organizing session with Time to Align. Sessions are tailored to meet client needs and may include planning, sorting, decision making, organizing techniques, space configuration, and item placement. 

Ensure good internet connectivity in the space where work will be completed.

Locate a surface area for your webcam / device so you (and as much of the workspace as possible), are viewable. Here are some general tips to find the best location for your device, based on the organizing project area:

  • If seated on the floor, try side-table height (22" - 24")

  • If seated at a table, try table-height (30") 

  • If standing, try countertop height (36-42")

  • If you anticipate alternating between sitting & standing, try table-height (30") with some distance between the camera & the workspace.

Have plenty of surface space space for sorting items.

​

Have designated areas (as applicable) for:

  • Trash

  • Recycling

  • Donations

  • Items to be repurposed, gifted, sold, or relocated

 

Have recommended products (purchased or on-hand) ready to use (as applicable).

Have note-taking tools (paper/pen or digital) available

​

Provide dimensions, photos and/or video as requested by Time to Align (as applicable).
